Leisa is a Swedish-American girl, born in Colorado, growing up on the ocean in Solana Beach, California- playing sports, surfing and fishing most of her life. She played college basketball, danced for CSUC, and received a BA in Communications/Public Relations/Broadcasting from Cal-State University, Chico. From there, her media career in advertising, marketing and broadcasting took off- from television to newspaper to radio to news & traffic reporting in a helicopter. Her radio broadcasting/voice-over career began first in Chico, then in San Diego where she was a Radio Personality on a country music station, KOWF, “The Cow”. Leisa has worked with some of America’s best voice talent and controversial radio personalities in the business- Rush Limbaugh, The Jeff and Jer Show/ Y-95, John Tesh, Mark & Brian/ KLOS, legendary Shotgun Tom, Charlie & Harrigan, Monica Zech, Singer/Songwriter Joe Diffie, Tom Nelson, Jerry Fender, Joey Bravo.

In 1998, Leisa took quite a few years off to raise her children and enjoy her family- wife, mom, basketball coach, ballet teacher… Then in 2006, she came back to the mountains and the media industry, in Hailey, Idaho with husband and two beautiful, action-packed girls all enjoying bold adventures in The Sawtooths!  Leisa’s media experience in Idaho consists of working 9 years as a Sn. Account Executive/Marketing Director for Locally Owned Radio (Bob FM, I-Rock, The Bull, The Canyon, Q106) and is currently, Chief Marketing Officer for Eye on Sun Valley- an online daily news media house, and The Eye on Sun Valley Show, Cox Channel 13, that is taking Southern Idaho by a storm.

In her private life, Leisa loves her family most! She lives for the mountains and loves the ocean! Today, in her spare time, off/on, Leisa is a wildlife rescuer/rehabilitator, a gem hunter, sings in a church choir, forages the landscape, rivers, waterfalls, lakes & streams- a real water-bug and a real fisherman! She shares a deep respect for the environment, children, old people, nature, her country and God!
