Leisa is a Swedish-American girl born in Colorado, growing up in Solana Beach, California- with sports, surfing and deep-sea fishing. She played college basketball, danced for CSUC, & earned BA in Communications/Public Relations/Broadcasting from Cal-State University, Chico. From there, her media career in Broadcasting, Advertising, Marketing took off- from Television to Newspaper, Radio to Traffic Reporting in a helicopter, to Online News. Her Radio Broadcasting/voice-over career began in Chico, then in San Diego as a
Radio Personality for a Classic Country station, KOWF, “The Cow”. Leisa has worked with some of America’s best voice talent and Radio personalities in the business- Rush Limbaugh, Jeff and Jer Show/ Y-95, John Tesh, Mark & Brian/ KLOS, legendary Shotgun Tom, Charlie & Harrigan, Monica Zech, Joe Diffie, Tom Nelson, Jerry Fender, Joey Bravo.

Moving to Hailey, Idaho, Leisa took many years off to raise her children, enjoy her family as wife, mom, basketball coach, ballet teacher with two action-packed girls, all enjoying bold adventures in The Sawtooths! In 2009, she hit the media industry running again. Leisa’s career moves in Idaho consist of working 9 years as a Sn. Account Executive/Marketing Director for Locally Owned Radio (Bob FM, I-Rock, The Bull, The Canyon, Q106). Today, Leisa operates as Chief Marketing Officer/Partner for 2 news houses in the Daily News industry with formats that are retro-style and refreshing. Eye on Sun Valley publishes daily Online News/ feature stories for EyeOnSunValley.com and EyeOnEspanol.com, and daily Television News, Cox Ch.13 weekly, on The Eye on Sun Valley Show, aired in 7 states.

In her private life, Leisa loves her family most! In her spare time, Leisa is a wildlife rescuer/rehabilitator, church choir singer, gem hunter- foraging the landscape and rivers, a water-bug in lakes, streams and waterfalls, and an excellent fisherman! She shares a deep respect for the environment and nature, our children, the elderly, our Country, and God!
